2010 COMMENCEMENT

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 2010 COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL, AWARDS CEREMONY AND PURCHASE OF CAPS & M E M O R A N D U M

MUST READ!!!

COMMENCEMENT: Will be on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM on the LIU
Athletic Field. The ceremony will be followed by a reception on Campus
for the graduates, family, and friends.

AWARDS CEREMONY: Will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM
to 12:00 PM in the M-Building Gymnasium.

REHEARSAL: Will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 12:00 AM to 1:00
PM in the M-Building Gymnasium.

CAPS & GOWNS:
Caps and gowns will be ordered ON-LINE ONLY!!!
-       Orders placed by April 2 will be shipped directly to the
campus where you will be notified when to pick-up.  There will be no
shipping fees on orders received by April 2.
-       Orders placed after April 2 will be shipped directly to the
address the student provided and the student will be responsible for
all costs associated with shipping/handling and tax.
-       The site will close on April 23.  Students will not be able to
order after this date.  Students still wishing a cap and gown will
have the option to purchase from a very small quantity of extra caps
and gowns.  We do not guarantee a cap and gown will be available for
you.

COMPUTER LITERACY EXAM - Don't Forget!!!

If you must take the computer literacy exam, here is a link with the
schedule for this semester. To my knowledge, unless you have a
previous degree, you have to take this exam in order to graduate.

A Teaching Hospital in the state of New York is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist and will train!

Area with breathtaking scenery has many cultural and many outdoor recreational activities.

Hospital: Expanding the Cardiac Program, ED and Oncology Center. Hospital provides comprehensive acute medical-surgical care and emergency care, and has widely recognized programs in Cancer Care, Heart Care, and Women’s and Children’s Services including pediatric services.

Training program provided: There will be a ground-up training to a very independent and high level of advanced practice expectation. We will train so that one is able to adapt to the critical thinking skills required and decision-making, in a fast-paced environment.
