REHEARSAL, AWARDS CEREMONY AND PURCHASE OF CAPS & GOWNS

Please follow the instructions below.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING CAPS & GOWNS ONLINE:
1. Log on to www.herffjones.com/college/
2. Select LIU - A&M Schwartz College of Pharmacy. Click CONTINUE
3. Verify that this page is your College that the correct date of
commencement is May 2010. Click CONTINUE
4. Select ORDER YOUR CAP AND GOWN
5. Select your degree level (Doctorate (PhD or PharmD)/Master)
click CONTINUE
6. ORDER YOUR CAP AND GOWN continued:
Under PRODUCT INFORMATION select Cap, Gown, Tassel/Hood
Under CAP & GOWN INFORMATION complete personal information to complete
your order. Click CONTINUE
7. STUDENT ORDER INFORMATION:
Complete ORDERED BY section. In the address/phone fields, enter your
own address, phone number, and email address
Under DEGREE INFORMATION enter your name
Under CAP & GOWN INFORMATION review the information. Click CONTINUE
8. CHECK OUT:
Review all information you've submitted. Click SUBMIT. Please review
your order carefully. ORDERS CANNOT BE CHANGED ONCE SUBMITTED.
Under PAYMENT enter your credit card information and click SUBMIT.
CAP & GOWN PICK-UP: Caps and gowns are to be picked-up on May 12,
2010. The times and location for pickup will be announced at the
commencement rehearsal.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING RINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS ONLINE:
To order your RINGS and ANNOUNCEMENTS please follow steps 1 - 4 but at
step 4 select ORDER YOUR COLLEGE RING and/or ORDER YOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
and continue your ordering.
COMMENCEMENT DAY LINE-UP:
You must be ready to line up on the first floor of the HEALTH SCIENCES
BUILDING for the academic procession no later than 12:15 PM.
RECEPTION: Will be held on campus following Commencement. This
reception is in your honor, and your guests are cordially invited to
attend.
PHOTOGRAPHS: There will be ample opportunity to take photographs with
relatives and friends both before and after Commencement. We ask that
the taking of photos not interfere with the academic procession.
A professional photographer from a studio company will take a photo of
each graduate receiving his/her diploma. The company will contact you
directly to see if you wish to purchase the photo. There is no
obligation on your part to purchase.
TICKETS: Tickets are not required for your guests for Commencement.
STREET PARKING: Extremely limited and public transportation is recommended.
ALUMNI PARENTS and SIBLINGS: If your parent, grandparent, or sibling
is a graduate of the College, we invite him/her to march with you in
cap and gown in the academic procession. If this applies to you
please contact Dean Schumacher immediately at 718-488-1004.

FREE APhA NAPLEX REVIEW BOOK ORDER
Request your copy online starting November 30, 2009!
New this year students are responsible for a shipping & handling fee of $9.95, this fee can be paid by credit/debit card on the NAPLEX request page.
The Complete Review for Pharmacy, 7th Edition will be mailed to current APhA student pharmacist members graduating in 2010 beginning in February after they complete the request process. Student pharmacist members with an active membership through October 31, 2010 must request the book online by the December 30, 2009 deadline to receive their copy of the Review Book. The request process is quick and easy. APhA advises all student pharmacist members to log into their accounts on www.pharmacist.com and review their profile to ensure their membership status is active through October 2010 with a 2010 graduation date. After doing so, simply follow this procedure:
Step 1 - Log into www.pharmacist.com
Step 2 - Go to "Your Account"
Step 3 - Click the "Book Request" button
Step 4 - Fill-Out the Request Form with the requested information
Step 5 - Pay the $9.95 shipping & handling fee
It's that simple!
Don't forget to request your copy November 30 - December 30, 2009. Shipment will begin in February 2010. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Students who do not request the book by the deadline risk having a copy of the book shipped to them at a much later date. The online form will only be available to 2010 graduating students.
